Clay Stories is more than a name - it's a way of working. Slow, rooted in craft, grounded in the poetry of everyday life. Each mug, bowl, plate, or sculpture is shaped by hand and designed to be held - to become part of someone else's story.
I create hand-built pottery inspired by the quiet beauty of the coastal Carolina landscape. The river's rhythm, the hush of pinewoods, the curve of an oyster shell, the majesty of a mountain, the glow of a sunset. Every piece I make begins with a story, a journey, or an experience, like a bike ride through the wooded paths, a glimpse of the sun sparkling on the water, the breeze blowing the marsh grass, a fallen leaf, and the animals that visit my backyard daily.
